I was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight and packable this poncho is—the drawstring hood actually stays put in a gust of wind. Tucked it into its front pocket and now it lives in my glove compartment.

Folded it into its own pocket and it took up almost no space in my daypack — perfect for keeping it handy. The fabric shed water immediately as soon as I stepped under a drizzle, and the 56-inch length kept my legs surprisingly dry.

The drawstring hood actually stays put in a gust, which is rare, and the whole thing folds into that front pocket so I just keep it in my work bag. I’ve worn it twice this week and the water beads right off, plus it’s roomy enough to cover a backpack.
